An outdoor Jacuzzi is located in the beautiful outdoor terrace, boasting direct and unobstructed views of the Caldera and world-renowned Santorinian sunset.  Need we say more?

Interior

Capitan’s Villa is split over five levels: a ground floor, first floor, terrace, the Jacuzzi level, and a basement. The 4 bedrooms of the villa, each named after one of the family members, are lavish yet emit a sense of comfort and will make you feel right at home, even when holidaying here for the first time! On the ground floor you will find two bedroom suites, each with a built in king-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. One suite features a walk-in-closet, whereas the other suite offers a spacious wardrobe.

On the first floor of the villa you will find the other two bedrooms, both with built-in queen-size beds, which share a bathroom on the 1^st floor. One of the rooms has access to a private balcony boasting spectacular direct views of the sunset. All beds, mattresses, pillows and bed linen have been purchased from CocoMat. This is a remarkable once-local now-global company that specialise in superior quality natural, anatomical matresses and other upmarket sleep-related products.

The dining area is located on the ground floor and boasts epoch furniture, such as a Georgian chandelier, and a Venetian cabinet and mirror. The kitchen of the villa is just another gem in this unique property. Retaining the original tiles and other traditional features, it also offers all modern amenities like a stove, an oven and an espresso machine, among other things. In the reception and in the office space, which are super convenient for keeping up with work tasks and enjoying some quiet time should you wish to, you will find a photograph of the owner’s ancestor and once proud occupant of Capitan’s Villa, as well as an authentic antique typewriter.

The living spaces of the villa with the high cross-vaulted ceilings, where ‘vengeras’ (a local name for evening parties) were once held, fully retain their aristocratic vibe, while also achieving a sense of ‘homeliness’ and warmth.  Modern amenities are generously offered throughout the living spaces, such as a 42’’ 3D flat screen TV, complete with cable TV and full home cinema facilities, also including a DVD player, an i-dock station and more.

Exterior

The exterior spaces of Capitan’s Villa are as impressive as the interior. The terrace offers remarkable unobstructed views of the Caldera. Whatever your expectations, being there and enjoying the views yourself, is bound to surpass them. An ideal place to wine, dine and watch the sunset, while enjoying full privacy. The Jacuzzi of Capitan’s Villa is also located on this level, so you have all the ingredients you need for those fantastic sunsets in ultimate bliss.

In the front part of Capitan’s Villa is the yard. Pebble paved as the local architecture dictates, the yard also offers views of the Caldera and the neoclassical façade of the building, making it a prime location choice to enjoy your breakfast or any other meal, and/or drinks.

An inner yard is also available for your comfort. It is decorated in local terracotta colours offering a cosy outdoor spot, ideal for games, reading books or any other activity you enjoy outdoors.

Last but not least, a private balcony that can be accessed from one of the 1^st floor bedrooms also offers direct views of the sunset. You could also enjoy this space reading a book, meditating or perhaps ‘yoging’ in unison with the eternal blue of the Aegean Sea and sky, and a few other Greek Islands in the distance painting a uniquely colourful backdrop for you.

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Santorini to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Santorini.

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the villa:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also, a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• The villa’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
