Paros Taverna Guide: 6 Hidden Gems for True Local Flavors
March 5, 2026

Paros beach guide to one of Greece’s best-kept summer secrets, the stunning shores of Paros. From golden sandy bays near Naoussa and Parikia to hidden coves across the serene island and the wider Cyclades, Paros offers beaches for every traveler—whether you seek crystal-clear waters, windsurfing spots, or peaceful escapes. In this guide, discover the island’s best beaches, insider tips, and where to find your perfect stretch of paradise.

Livadakia (Livadia) Beach, Parikia

No Paros beach guide would be complete without starting with Livadia Beach, one of my favorite and most convenient beaches near Parikia. Located just a short walk from the town center, this beautiful sandy bay is perfect for families, couples, and anyone looking for an easy and relaxing beach day. I love how the soft golden sand and calm, shallow turquoise waters make it ideal for swimming, while the views of Parikia’s white-washed old town create a truly magical setting.

What makes Livadakia Beach especially appealing to me is its location—you can enjoy a refreshing swim during the day and then stroll into town for dinner or sunset drinks in the evening. It’s an effortless and scenic introduction to the beach life on Paros, and a place I always recommend, especially if you’re staying nearby.

Golden Beach (Chrissi Akti)

Another absolute highlight in my Paros beach guide is Golden Beach, also known as Chrissi Akti. Located on the southern coast of Paros, this is easily one of the most breathtaking beaches on the island—and one I never get tired of visiting. Its long stretch of fine golden sand, crystal-clear water, and peaceful atmosphere make it perfect for a full, relaxing beach day.

What I love most is the sense of space and calm. Even though Golden Beach is large and well-organized, it rarely feels crowded, so you can always find your own quiet spot. The mountain backdrop adds to the scenery, and the Blue Flag status guarantees excellent water quality and facilities.

It’s also a favorite spot for windsurfing, but equally wonderful if you simply want to unwind under the Greek sun and soak in the beauty.

One of my favorite easy-to-reach spots in this Paros beach guide is Agioi Anargyroi Beach, located just a short walk from the charming harbor town of Naoussa. This beautiful sandy beach is especially perfect if you’re staying nearby and want a quick swim without needing a car.

I personally love its picturesque setting—the mix of soft sand, turquoise water, leafy trees, and traditional white Cycladic houses creates a truly postcard-worthy scene. It feels peaceful yet convenient, and it’s ideal for combining a relaxing beach day with exploring Naoussa’s lovely streets, restaurants, and boutiques. Like many beaches on Paros, it perfectly blends natural beauty with authentic island charm.

Kolymbethres Beach

A true highlight in my Paros beach guide is Kolymbethres Beach, one of the most unique and photogenic beaches on the island. What makes it so special are the smooth, white granite rock formations that naturally create small coves—each one perfect for swimming and relaxing.

If you’re looking for a party atmosphere, Punda Beach is the ultimate beach club destination in my Paros beach guide. Located on the south coast of Paros (not to be confused with the ferry port to Antiparos), this beach is known for its lively vibe and trendy scene.

I recommend it especially if you enjoy music, cocktails, and a social atmosphere. Beach clubs like Punda Coast and VIVA Punda offer sunbeds, pools, great food, and all-day entertainment. It’s the perfect place on the island when you want to combine beach time with fun and energy.

One of the most unique hidden gems in my Paros beach guide is Kalogeros Beach, tucked away on the southeast coast of Paros. Surrounded by striking red cliffs, this small bay feels wild and untouched, with bright pebbles and crystal-clear turquoise water.

What makes it truly special to me is its natural beauty and lack of organized facilities. It’s also known for its natural clay, which many visitors use as a skin treatment. If you’re looking for a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path experience, this beach is absolutely unforgettable.
