Santorini Sunset: One of the most sought-after phenomena in the World!
The sunset in Santorini, particularly in Oia can be spectacular, especially if there are cloud formations in the sky.
But that is not the real beauty .. once the sun has sunk into the sea, the residual glow turns the buildings of the Caldera into different shades of pinks, oranges, yellows and reds.
Just remember to look into the rim of the Caldera!

- Book a table at a cafe in Oia.
- Enjoy it with a sunset cruise from the sea.
- Combine it with a meal at one of the fish taverns in Ammoudi Bay.
- Head towards the hill just outside Oia, located off a dirt road north of the village.
- For a completely different sunset view, head to the Lighthouse in Akrotiri.
If you still decide to enjoy the sunset in Oia, Santorini , try to get there early to find a spot by the Old Castle or the Windmill and witness this colourful moment while trying to block out the rest of the crowd.
